Mercedes EQE Colours and complete details

Mercedes-Benz has recently introduced its latest all-electric SUV, the EQE, which offers a blend of luxury and sustainability. The EQE is the newest member of Mercedes’ expanding range of electric vehicles that also includes the EQS sedan and the EQC SUV. In this article, we will take a closer look at the color options available for the 2023 Mercedes EQE SUV.

Graphite grey (Metallic, Free):

Metallic - Graphite grey

Although Graphite grey is a popular color choice, it tends to wash out the EQE’s unique shape and makes it look somewhat pudgy around the middle. Not the best color option, in our opinion.

High tech silver (Metallic, Free):

Silver has been a signature color for Mercedes, but the High tech silver offered here is somewhat lifeless. The warmer and more interesting Mojave silver would have been a better option.

Obsidian black (Metallic, Free):

The low and sleek shape of the EQE works very well in metallic black, and it’s a classic choice. However, this shape can wear a stronger color, and there are better options available.

Sodalite blue (Metallic, Free):

Sodalite blue is an excellent choice for the EQE, as it’s dark enough to look classy but bright enough to shimmer in the sun. It’s an especially good option for a no-cost paint option.

Opalite white (Manufaktur metallic, £695):

Although Merc’s high-end “Manufaktur” paints generally offer more visual interest, the Opalite white falls short. It looks too much like a plain white, and the extra cost isn’t justified.

Patagonia red (Manufaktur metallic, £695):

Patagonia red is a great color choice for the sporty AMG high-performance versions of the EQE. It works well on the EQE’s shape and is reasonably priced.

Alpine grey (Manufaktur solid, £695):

Manufaktur solid - Alpine grey

Alpine grey provides a matte grey finish that looks great on the EQE’s low and sleek shape. It’s an intriguing color choice and costs over £1,000 less than Opalite white.

Graphite grey magno (Manufaktur magno, £1,995):

Manufaktur magno - Graphite grey

The flat magno finish of Graphite grey is more interesting to look at than the metallic version, but the high price tag isn’t justified. Alpine grey provides a more striking version of the same effect for a much lower cost.

Overall, Sodalite blue and Patagonia red are the best color options for the EQE, while Alpine grey is the best choice for those seeking a matte finish.
